The Barn at Whitney’s Inn

For those couples looking for a rustic mountain event, we offer Whitney’s Inn, decorated in an Adirondack style with hickory and pine log furniture. The Shovel Handle Pub is a beautifully restored post and beam barn built in 1842, an actual working barn up until the 1970s. Our Wedding Coordinator, Lori Reynolds, has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and is a great resource for wedding couples. Through mostly emails and phone calls, she will answer all of your questions and concerns and help you to complete the Wedding Detail sheet, which contains all of the information for your wedding weekend. Don Bilger, owner of Whitney’s Inn, will orchestrate your rehearsal, ceremony and reception. You will just sit back and relax and let us do the work! In the event that Don is away, Jen Cowan, our Restaurant Manager, will run the show for you.

A wedding you will remember forever

Twinkle lights cascade throughout the three stories of the barn as well as an incredible stone fireplace which brings warmth and comfort to this historical venue. This charmingly aged barn graciously compliments any style when embellished with tablescapes, candles, and decorations creating a setting for that timeless mountain wedding.
